Born in Bulgaria she studied piano as a concert major at the Music Academy, Sofia. Since 1991 she worked in Austria, first as coach at the Tiroler Landestheater, Innsbruck, then from 1993 as teacher at the Mozarteum’s Department for Music and Dramatic Performance (today called: „für Musiktheater“).

Additionally, on a freelance basis, she participated for many years as coach in productions of the Salzburg and Bregenz festivals, as well as of the Salzburg Landestheater. Further, she acted as director of the Opera Studio at the Bavarian State Opera, Munich, (2002-2006). In the course of her professional carrier she worked with many important conductors and singers, among them with Valery Gergiev, Zubin Mehta, Lorin Maazel, Ivor Bolton, Theodor Currentis, as well as Renee Fleming, Ferrucio Furlanetto, Anna Netrebko, Placid Domingo, Edita Gruberova, Cecilia Bartoli and many others.

She also participated in numerous international Master Classes and Competitions for opera singers, respectively participated in their organization (inter alia: in Russia, Bulgaria, Portugal, Argentina and Germany). She also worked as repetiteur and coach at various opera productions abroad, inter alia in Munich, Zürich, St. Petersburg, Ushuaja (Argentina), and Beijing. View CV
